Confirming our conversation a few days ago, concerning In s ta lla tio n o f water mains to serve ft d lio k Park Estates, Las Vegas, Nevada. fo serve the Subdivision, we estimate i t w i l l requ ire 2460 LP o f 6* water main as in d ica ted by red lin e on the att&ched p r in t, fh e estimated cost o f constructing the water mains is $9590.00 which amount pursuant to Nevada Public S ervice Commission Rule 9* w i l l be subject to refund. The C ity A u th o ritie s advise th at i t w i l l be necessary to in s t a ll two f i r e hydrants to provide adequate f i r e p ro te c tio n to the su bdivision , the estimated cost o f constructing 6* cast iro n water lin e s to these hydrants is $240,00 which amount is not su bject to refund. In a d d ition i t w i l l be necessary that you secure fro® the c i t y &t your own expense the two fir © hydrants, th© cost o f which w i l l lik e w is e not be subject to refund. Each o f the above estimates includes a contingency item o f 10J, which is to cover any unforeseen increase in m aterial and other co st. Our con tract w i l l p ro vid e, among other th in gs, that you deposit the estimated cost o f 19830.00, and in the ©vent actual cost o f the wonk should be le s s than your d ep o sit, the Water Company w i l l refund to you such excess amount. In the event, however, that th# actu al cost should exceed th© amount o f your d e p o s it, you w i l l , upon r e c e ip t o f b i l l , reimburse th© Water Company f o r such a d d itio n a l cost.
