4PV Hr. R. M. Sutton 2. A pril 30, 1952 2. If the operating expenses in the first four months of 1952 have increased substantially over 1951, I think your witness should be prepared with an exhibit showing the detail of the accounts in which the substantial increase is most noticeable. I should, of course, like to have your views as to the desirability of such a supplementary statement . 3. A statement showing the actual cost of the water production of the Railroad Company for the first four months of 1952 as compared with a similar period in the year 1951* 4. If it appears necessary or helpful, a statement showing the detail of the accounts in which substantial increases have occurred. -- 5. You have heretofore sent me statements showing the projects involving capital expenditures to be made by the Railroad in the year 1952. I presume that there will not be many changes in this showing between now and the time of trial. If any new projects are authorised, your witness should be prepared to testify to such projects, and if it appears necessary, a revised exhibit may have to be prepared. 6. You have heretofore furnished me an exhibit showing the capital expenditures presently authorised by work orders in connection with the water distribution facilities of the Water Company and also an exhibit showing additional projects contemplated in 1952. X think your witness should review these statements in the light of changes since the first of the year and be prepared to show by either revised exhibits or testimony any new projects which have been authorised in 195* not already shown on the exhibits and the amount of money spent up to a current date in 1952 and contemplated to be spent in the remainder of the year on all such projects.
