Call to Order Senate President Wild called the thirty-nineth meeting of the Consolidated Student Senate to order at 4:00 p.m. II. Roll Call MEMBERS PRESENT Charles Bloom Ginger Clayton Robin Hunt Mary Beth Nitzschke Terri Tollefson - excused absent Robert Barnum - excused absent Steve Bowie - unexcused absent Dave Levins - unexcused late Cathy Clay Phil Horn - excused absent Pam Jacka - excused absent Paul Berger Nancy Felsing As a result of a lack of quorum Chairman Wild moved the meeting directly into IV. Executive Board Announcements. IV. Executive Board Announcements President Oshinski announced that the response to the proposed ban on rock concerts which he and Jef Wild wrote has been sent out and the Senators should have received a copy in their boxes. Also, today was the last day that applications were being accepted for Press Secretary. Tomorrow the Executive Board will be considering the applications which have been submitted. If the Board can not make a decision applications will be accepted until the next Executive Board meeting. ASUN will be placing members on the Ad Hoc Political Action Committee. VI. The Entertainment and Programming Board meeting is Friday August 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fireside lounge. Mary Beth Nitzschke asked the Senate if they know of any where the Guardian Angels can hold there work out and class room sessions after August 27. Also, the Guardian Angels are in need of a head-quarters. IX. Open Discussion Senator Bloom announced that there will be a Pep Rally September 1 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rebel Park.
