You hare copy of my letter of October 9th with which I returned to Constodk his Form 30, So. 5-1934,, requesting authority for the expenditure of $7310.00, of which $6851.00 la chargeable to capital account, ftp form contemplates drilling the well to a depth of approximately 800% whereas X felt that inasmuch as other sufficient wells have been .secured in that vicinity at a depth of about 300 *, we should be {Justified in yggpegting to accomplish the same .results at little more than half the expenditure cowered by the form., 1 now enclose a copy of letter t?h»% Sfr* Comstock has written me in reply to one above mentioned, and. am also attaching form 30, Ho, 6-1934, as originally prepared. 1 still feel that we should get water in sufficient quantities at considerably less depth than is contemplat­ed in the form, but if you concur I am willing to approve the form wi th the understanding that no greater expenditure will be made in the process of drilling than Is necessary to develop a well suffic­ient for the purposes intended.
