Bracken; As requested In your letter of June §§| 1938, 1 enclose herewith, executed by Rosooe Moss Company, dupli­cate originals of the above mentioned letter of understand­ing, the Railroad Company* s oounterpart bearing approval as to form. The letter should be executed on behalf of the Railro&d Companies by Hr. Guild under existing authority of Section 4, Article V of the By-Laws of LA&SL and Union Pacific, pursuant to delegation of such authority as shown by Section IV (a) of the Instructions Concerning the Handling of Contracts.
