Bates) For use in the Court case against the Nevada Public Service Commission to set aside its 19.51 Order of August 24, s granting an insufficient increase in water rates to the LYUfcWCoapany at Lae Yegas, 1 suggest that each depart­ment to whom a copy of this letter is addressed prepare a revised estimate for the calendar year 1952 showing the cost to the department of furnishing management and su­pervision services to the T ater Department of the LYUfcW Company and separately such services to the water pro­duction facilities of the Railroad Company at Las Ytgas, Nevada, used to furnish water to the LVL&WCoopany. 1 should appreciate it if Mr. Sutton would arrange to have an estimate made of such services performed by the Assistant Treasurer and if Mr. Hulaiser would ar­range to have an estimate made of such services performed by the Engineering Department at Omaha. I I am enclosing copies of Exhibits *1* and *H* which were introduced in evidence in X & 8 1 2 7 showing the figures which were submitted for the calendar year 1950. Mr. Hulslser and Mr. Sutton already have copies of these exhibits and will not receive copies now. As indicated on these exhibits, Exhibit *K* relates to the cost of management service furnished by the Railroad to LYL&¥Company in connection with the distribution of wa­ter, and Exhibit M " «nd Items II and H H n Exhibit reflect the cost of management and supervision service experienced by the Railroad in operating and maintain­ing the water production facilities of the Railroad at Las Yegss.
