Plunkett for extension of water mains to serve Blocks 1 and 2 of Plunkett Traot, Las Vsg&s, Nevada, 1 am submitting herewith ten copies* of Form 30 Estimate dated November 16, 1953* and ten oopies of letter of recommendation to Mr. Stoddard for hla signature. fou will note that the estimate of oost for water main extensions requested by Mr. Plunkett is less than 12,000.00, and therefore does not require the approval of the Mater District. This project is one for which the Subdivider has requested the Water Company to furnish him a letter stating that it will extend its water mains to serve the subdivision proposed by him as one of the requirements of the Las Vegas Board of City Commissioners prior to official approval of his subdivision. After the executives of the Water Company approve extensions of water mains as shown in attached estimate, I will write Mr* Plunkett the letter requested by him stating that the Water Company will extend its mains to serve his subdivision under the conditions included in our usual form of Refund Agreement, In view of the fact that the Las Vegas Valley Water District has requested the Water Company to secure three contractors bids prior to commencement of construction on any project, It will be necessary that I have the approval of the Water Company executives for this project prior to entering into any contract for work covered by the attached estimate since you will note that this project is one which will be constructed by the Water Company after the estimated oost has been deposited with the Water Company.
