Hitter) Four memo September 2 regarding status of #350*000 bond issue to cover new Sewage Disposal Plant at Las Vegas! In order to make these bonds attractive to potential purchasers, & City Ordinance is being passed providing for monthly sewer rental charge of #1.00 for each residence with a sliding scale for Motels, multiple units and business houses* which It is expected will provide $90,000 additional annual revenue to the City. This fund will be used to amortize the bonds* pay the Interest thereon and provide for future sewer main extensions. The'bands are being re-advertised for sale and it is now expected that no difficulty will be encountered in disposing of them* In view of these additional revenues. kith reference to the parking meters, the standards are now being Installed and should be completed In the next two weeks.
