I agree./ f f October 8, 1912. t a t is t ic s , Merchant Marine and Fisheries— Mr. H. C. Nutt, General Manager. Dear S ir: I have pour favor of October 4th submitting form of ansvrers to inquiries propounded by the Committee on the Merchant Marine and Fisheries, of the House of Representatives I have examined the answers as f i ll e d in, and they appear to be in due form, except some of those found on page 17 * In our contract with the P a c ific navigation Company, as I remember i t , they agree not to dock their vessels a* any wharves in San Pedro Harbor other than the wharves of this company. I t would therefore seem that we should answer question 4, on page 17, to the effect that we have a contract with the P a c ific Navigation Company covering a working arrange ment between the companies, and that we should furnish a copy of this agreement with our report. The written statement in the 4th lin e from the bottom of the page should be amended to show that we have a written contract with said company, Otherwise it seems to me the statement is correct. I return the same herewith. Very tr u ly you rs,
