The houses which are being constructed at Las Vegas are of a much better character than those which have heretofore been erected for employees, and I think should bring more rent. My notion is that when we rent cottages at a place like Las Vegas, having in mind that they will be occupied mostly by shopmen, if we get the rent too high and the employees feel that we are unreasonable, it will simply tend to have them discontented with the wage scale.
