COUNTY OF CLARK ) Dick Lochrie, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is foreman of the Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal, a daily newspaper, of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two weeks from September 22, 1947 to Sept. 29, 1947, inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: Sept. 22-29. My Commission Expires Jan 12, 1951. ----0O0----- ORDINANCE NO. 339 AN ORDINANCE DECLARING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; ORDERING A PLAT SHOWING SAID TERRITORY TO BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF THE COUNTY OF. CLARK, STATE OF NEVADA; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO. WHEREAS, all the property owners, inhabitants and freeholders of the territory hereinafter described have duly petitioned the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas to annex said territory to said City; NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. All that certain territory in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, adjoining and contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Las Vegas, and being the South Half (S½) of the Southwest Quarter (SW¼) of Section 22, Township 20 South, Range 61 East, M. D. B. & M., together with the tenements, property and inhabitants thereof, is hereby declared to be annexed to and be a part of the City of Las Vegas and subject to all the taxes and laws thereof. Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Las Vegas is hereby ordered and directed to prepare a plat showing the territory hereby annexed to the City of Las Vegas and to cause said plat to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its publication, as in the next section provided, and final passage. Section 4. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this Ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption, in the Las Vegas Evening Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
