I agree.Mr. H. A* Willlame: Mr, Bracken recently received a memorandum from B&B Supervisor Bigelow to the e ffect that wood stave pipe lin e inside of shop fence at Las Vegas is leaking again. After investigating the situation Mr, Bracken has submitted recommendation that this small amount of 16* wooden pipe from shop fence to end of 16* Cl pipe he renewed at the same time work is resinned under '1 ,0 . 470? Which covers new well and Id* wood stave pipe line in the v ic in ity of Big Springs, Mr, Bracken states that section of main reo-oramended for renewal is in had condition and causes water service department constant trouble. It is my understanding that this pipe lin e is owned and maintained exclusively by the Railroad Company and i f this is correct, X see no reason why the B&B Supervisor should have taken up matter of repair© with Mr* Bracken instead of with the Division Engineer or superintendent. In any event I assume that you w i ll arrange fo r proper maintenance of this pipe lin e and i f necessary replace in kind the section inside of shop fence when work is resumed on improvements authorized by 'fork Order 4707.
