In their notice they refer to paragraph 2 of Permit granted the Las Vegas Land and Water Company which is covered bv our Contracu Auo.it 764d dated Feb. 25* 1930 copy of which is in Mr. Bennett's file. I have discussed the situation with Mr. Bennett and he is familiar with it. approval. am submitting herewith the following data for your (1) 1 copy of Form 30 Estimate consisting of 2 sheets. Referring to the print, Drawing A-1101 which shows location of_existing 8 " main to be abandoned in place, I have discussed with Mr. Thomas Oakey, the new owner of the land in which this line is located, the matter of leaving it in place and he_was^agreeable to this but thought he should have an indemnification agreement with the Water Company to cover any future trouble he might have with it. Mr. Cory advised that, in his opinion, we should not furnish such an agreement. The City is phoning every few days asking when we will build the new line as they.rare anxious to install new pavement in Charleston Blvd. after a new line is constructed. If you approve, I will submit the project to the Water District for their approval* LRM/tp I - j • * M q . s . 0 j' i AX ty f-irr>e iT n A Ur •. .w.. » Iv4 a* ,ny „ Sxail J\ W /\V At ill!, i|i pAV how 1 #w \ vm ft rfr V v 'A .yjr Afe\
