Mr. K nickerbocker: A p r il 1, 1936. a very peculiar position, and I can foresee that in the summer months when we find our reservoir almost drained and a marked shortage of pressure and water to the consumers, there w ill he an immediate howl from the entire populace and a refusal on the part of a great many to pay their monthly water rent. You are fam iliar with the exchange of correspondence on this subject la s t year, at which time it was decided not to expend the amount necessary for a new w ell, hut I wish to emphasize the fact that conditions are much worse this year and w ill continue to he as the summer progresses. Another thing we should anticipate is the prohahle demand for resumption of service in the Boulder Addition. At this time we are not serving water to the Boulder Syndicate, hut for the f i r s t ten months of 1935 we delivered to them an average of 2,013,765 gallons per month on a wholesale basis, with an average revenue from them of $145.00 per month. "hen the hot summer months arrive and they find their pump w ill not supply the addition, they w ill come to us and ask for water, and no doubt the Public Service Commission w ill require us to furnish i t . Phe requirements of this Addition are, of course, highest during the summer months when we are ourselves short of water, and with no water running over the spillw ay right now it is not d iffic u lt to im gine the situation that we w ill have to face la te r in the summer
