The recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission on the application of F.E. Searway for variance to permit the construction of a store in an R-2 zone at the southwest corner of H and McWilliams Streets was read to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved that a public hearing on the appeal of the decision of the Planning Commission by Mr. Searway be held April 16, 1952 at 7:30 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Jarrett moved the tentative map of Hardy and Huff Subdivision as recommended by the Regional Planning Commission be approved with the condition that a 60 foot street be put through the approximate center of the Subdivision, running east and west. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the foil owing vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. The investigation forms for gaming and liquor applicants as submitted by the Police Department, were approved with the following changes: 1) All persons that have at least 2% interest in the business be listed 2) Before the signature of the applicant a statement be inserted that a any false information will subject the license to cancellation without notice. Commissioner Whipple moved the City Manager write a letter to the Valley Park Water Assn, that no one is permitted to tie into the City Sewer that is not in the City limits. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Whipple moved this meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried.
