Adamson - Lo b Angeles WO 678 authorized construction of 5020 feet of 8-inch and 6-inch water main replacing 1740 feet of existing 4-inch main to serve the area north of Stewart Street and east of Seventh Street, Las Vegas, at estimated cost of |25,110*00, of which $17,650.00 Is chargeable to investment. Description of work performed, which was commenced July 1, 1951 and completed November 9, 1951, ie as follows* Constructed 2862 feet of 6-lnch and 2124 feet of 8 -inch cast iron water main, replacing 1740 feet of 4-inch cast iron water main. Attached is detailed statement of charges in amount #21,353.77 of which #15,359.46 is chargeable to investment and #5,994.31 chargeable to expenses. Also attached is statement of adjustments necessary to complete accounting* Data for depreciation purposes is as follows: 6-lnch cast iron water sain- 2862 feet #10,944.40 8-inch cast iron water main- 384 feet— - 1,730.78 Excess value of 8* over 4* materials in 1740 ft of existing line 2,678.59 $15,353.77 For use in preparing *AG* prints I am attaching to Mr. Adamson's copy sketch of location of water mains constructed.
