Spread Eagle 
We the undersigned do hereby locate and claim fifteen hundred feet for mining purposes on this Lead Lode as Ledge as Deposit of Silver Bearing Rock and ore to be known and described as the Spread Eagle mine commencing at the monument upon which this notice placed and running in a northerly direction seven hundred and fifty feet also in a southerly direction seven hundred and fifty feet on and along said Lead Lode as Ledge as Deposit of Silver Bearing Rock and ore and including three hundred feet on each side there of for mining and working purposes we claim and intend to hold and work said claim and mining ground in accordance with the mining laws of the united states approved may 10th 1872 and in accordance with the mining Laws of El Dorado Mining District Lincoln County State of Nevada
Said mine is situated about four hundred yards south westerly from the Black Jack Mine between the El Dorado and the [not legible] [not legible] Dated Nov 22nd 1880
