Item D II - Accounting for Deposits made by Subdividers with L.V.L.&W.Co. covering the estimated cost of constructing water mains pursuant to Rule 9-A of Nevada Public Service Commission* 1 - Accounting on receipt of advances. The amounts of advances as received are credited to Ledger Account! Donations Subject to Complete or Partial Refund, Cost of constructing the water mains is charged to Property Investment Account; Water System - Las Vegas, Nevada, When the construction of water mains has been completed and the cost in accordance with the contracts determined, a refund is made to the Subdivider providing the amount advanced is greater than the aetual cost, and the amount so refunded is charged to Ledger Account: Donations Subject to Complete or Partial Refund, If the actual cost is greater than the amount advanced, the Subdivider is required to advance an additional amount to equal the actual cost which when received is credited to Ledger Account: Donations Subject to Complete or Partial Refund, 2 - Accounting on payment of refund. As and when water users take service from water mains so constructed, the amounts advanced are refunded to the Subdividers at the rate of 50% of water users monthly bills for a period of ten years, or until the full amount advanced has been refunded, whichever occurs first. It is our practice to make such refunds at the close of each three month period based on the amounts of water receipts during the preceding three month period.
