Lear Sir: Replying to your letter under date of March 31st, File 185 making inquiry concerning water meters. Beg to advise you that I have on hand now hut one meter "534353. This meter is the one that was taken out of the Consolidated Power & Telephone fo's. plant and is out of commission. It needs to he replaced with an inside guttapercha wheel. I "believe It would ho wise to send same to the Rational Meter Company in Los Angeles and have them fix It. Please advise. In this connection I wish that you would send me for stock 3 or 3 meters. I have an inquiry today for one, hut you will understand I am discouraging the placing of meters all I can as our flat water rate is much hotter than what we would secure through meter service.
