Las Vegas — A p ril 9 , 1949 V 1-4-1 Mr. Wm. Reinhardts Our 1942 Chevrolet |-ton Plek-up truck is deteriorating so rapidly that the cost of maintenance is excessive. I asked the local Chevrolet Agency to quote us a price on a new one* which Is attached, hut the trade-in allowance on the old one is not satisfactory. Attached also is a quotation from Clark County Wholesale Mercantile Go. covering a 3/4-ton International. The purchase price is comparable to the Chevrolet, hut the trade-in value of the old truck Is much more satisfactory, considering that we paid only |894 for it in September 1942* If you approve the exchange, will ydu kindly request work order authority for the 3/4-ton International which is quoted at $1739 less $ 6 0 0 trade-in allowance on the old Chevy truck.
