Yeates, being first duly ©worn , deposes and says: At the time of the construction of tbs Utah Southern R&llro&d is Juab County he was employed as a fireman on a con­st ruction train , commencing to work between fork and Juab in Juab County, on or about April l, IS79 1 and continuing in that capacity without interruption to the fore part of the year isacu At the time of completion of the railroad to Juab and at all times subsequent thereto , water for thegl§ai&se upon which he worked was supplied at the station of Juab in Juab County from a tank which was supplied through a pipe line connected with a spring located in the Sorthweat quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section j, township 15 South, Range 1 West , salt lake Seridian. Regular passenger and freight service was commenced over the constructed line of the Utah Southern Railroad Company on June 15, 1879, and this deponent was employed as Fireman on construction and regular trains to the fir It day of November ,1881, when fee was promoted to the position of Engineer and has since been running continuous­ly as an Engineer on regular trains | and has, at regular intervals rim into and out of the station at Juab aforesaid, and knows of his own knowledge that continuously from the commencement of regular passenger and freight service into and out of the Juab station afore­said , water for locomotives has been taken through the pips line and from the spring aforesaid* «2*ffESf; (Signed) JAMh:B A.
