I have Just been shewn some of the affidavits of complex tlon which are in Mr. Bennett’s files, they do not purport to state the exact cost of the voile but state that wat least” a named amount of money has been spent. I with you would promptly review all of the filings in connection with the appropriation of water at has Vegas and give ms a report as to the statements of cost which are contained in those filings Mr. Bennett i« asking Mr. Cory to advise if, in M s opinion, the filings comply with the State law. Will you furnish Mr. Cory the necessary information upon whiah to base M s opinion.
