I agree.C. G. PETRIE CJTY ENGINEER tas Vegas, Nevada OFFICE OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION April 26 19 U8 Mr. A. M. Folger, General Manager Las Vegas Land & Water Company U01 South 2nd Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Folger: Re: STREETS AND HIGHWAYS Tonopah Drive This inquiry is made concerning the ultimate and necessary extension of Tonopah Drive northerly to Bonanza Road. You no doubt recall that at the time Rancho Road was built, a portion of the old Tonopah Drive through the Union Pacific Railroad properties was vacated; that is, a portion of what was originally the old L.V.& T. R/w line between the present State Highway improvement and the north- south section line between Sections 32 and 33, T.. 20 S., R. 6l E., City of Las Vegas. It was my impression at the time of said vacation that additional R/w was secured on this section line to extend Tonopah Drive nortlerly to Bonanza Road. However, we have no record of this R/W and would appreciate ary information you may have on this subject. In the event that there has been no actual conveyance, we believe that your Company will see the necessity for this street and cooperate with the City in this respect. CGP’dmn Very truly yours, LAS VEGAS -4 CLARK COUNTY JOINT PLANNING COMMISSION C. G. Petrie City Engineer $$j| fi' if'i
