(CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING) AUG 14 A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners held this 31st day of July9 1950 was called to order at the hour of 10:00 A«M by His Honor M ayor R W3 Gragin with the following members presents Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peecole, Whipple| City Manager G* Wa Shelley and Gity Clerk Shirley Ballinger., Absents City Attorney Howard Wo Gannon® Also present were representatives of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company and the Union Pacific Railroad Company v Gos^ missioner Williams of the Public Service Commission! and Messrso Pine and Hasset and Mrs* Habbart, members of the Advisory Water Committee for the Board of Commissioners„ WATER SUPPLY Commissioner Bunker moved the Gity Attorney b© instructed or the City of Las Vegas to prepare a formal demand on the Public Service Commission requiring the Las Vegas Land and Water Company 9 who hold a franchise to furnish water to the city, ©r the Union Pacific Company p to pressed immediately to augment the present water supply to the city0 Motion seconded by Commissioner Pescole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker9 Moore, Peecole 9 Whipple and His Honor voting aye$ noes, none,.
