SYCAMORE 3-7129 November 2k, 195k Mr. W. C. Renshaw Chief Engineer and General Manager Las Vegas Valley Water District P. 0. Box 1109 Las Yegas, Nevada Subject: Easements Across U.P.R.R. Property Dear Mr. Renshaw: Transmitted herewith is a letter from the Union Pacific Railroad Company, together with duplicate originals of C.L.D. No. 11342-1 - agreement supplementing C.L.D. No. 113*1-2 covering the sale of the Las Yegas water system. This supplemental agreement provides for granting by the U.P.R.R. of a new easement for the Lake Mead Transmission Main just west of the railroad which follows the section line. The agreement provides also for the District to reconvey the original easement which will not be needed by the District. As far as the legal description is concerned, the agreement is in. order. Perhaps it should be reviewed by Mr. McNamee before it is executed by the District. As requested by Mr. Adamson, both copies of the agreement should be returned to him for execution by the Railroad officials. The draft of C.L.D. No. 11342-2 mentioned in Mr. Adamson’s letter covers the easement reguired for the section of the Lake Mead Transmission Main between Main Street and the west line of the SE l/b of the SE \/k of Section 28, T20S, R6lE, and also the easement required for the North Las Yegas Feeder. We are advising Mr. Adamson that this draft is in order. Presumably the formal copies of C.L.D. No. 11342-2 will be forwarded for execution in the near future. .Very truly yours JMM:IS
