Conner dated April 7, 1953, File W 23-1-115, submitting detailed estimate of expenditures with letter to Mr. Stoddard recommending authority to construct water mains to serve industrial area west of U. P. right of way, south of Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada. the Subdivi&er, in this instance, is Mr. Bah H. Plunkett, who made the application to us and has deposited to cover the cost of the work in accordance with Public Service Commission Rule 9, as stated in estimate dated March 30, 1953* this line was requested not only to serve industrial property owned by Mr. Plunkett, but was requested primarily to serve the Western Laundry Company who is now in the process of constructing a laundry building on the property. This laundry building is practically completed and Mr. Plankett has advised us that the laundry company Is now installing its machinery and will be in need of water by the first of June. In order to avoid serious complaints from the laundry company, as well as the Sub&ivlder, Mr. Plunkett, would suggest that authority to construct water line, included In submission with my letter to Mr. Conner, be expedited.
