Dear Sir: Replying to your letter May 3^d, file 803, regarding use of water from Las Vegas Greek for irrigating the Stev/art Burial Plot: on the Ranch property and the normal flow is consumed entirely on the Ranch; occasionally a small overflow may run beyond the extreme end. showing how the springs and wells are located, how the creek flows, the location, of the Stewart Burial Plot and the present open ditch through which they are obtaining water. However, I would suggest that you call on Mr. Adamson for SPLA&SLRR map Dwg. 30296, which will show each of these things in their proper location, as surveyed by W.G.Watson, assistant engineer at that time. part of the original Stewart Ranch which was purchased by Senator Olark, and at that time there was a small burial plot retained by the Stewarts for their personal inches of water. The question now arises as to whether we are to deliver the four inches at the point where the ditch takes off from the creek, or at the south border of the burial plot. The water is not used by riparian owners either above or below the Ranch, nor has anyone else any right or elaim to the use of this water.
