Imhoff, Superintendent of Operations for the Southern Nevada Power Company called Monday December 7th, stating that the Shadow Street Substation, which serves power to our Production Facilities, had practically reached the limit of its out-put during the peak periods of the day and inqulried as to whether it would be satisfactory to the Water Company for them to discontinue power service to these facilities Monday through Friday for the hours between 7 A.M. and 9 A.M. and 500 P.M. to 700 P.M. in order to assist them in getting over the peak period without reaching the limit of the substation capacity. to agree to any discontinuance of power to our facilities during the above mentioned period but assured him however that we would cooperate with him in every way possible to keep our power requirements down to a minimum during the periods mentioned in event his Company developed a real emergency during that period.
