Copy Peed "bill of Marsh., the freighter, from March 1st to 19th, Mr. J.K.W. Bracken, Las Vegas, JJevada. Dear Sir: Los Angeles, Cal., May 18, 1905* It was my understanding, after Mr.Clark had seen you on April 18th relative to the matter of feed charges collected from Marsh, the freighter, that you would send me a check for what you considered the railroad company* proportion, in fact I had a telegram from Mr. Clark dated April 19th, in which, referring to you, he stated: "He says our company is entitled to a portion of it from-2nd to 7th of March at 75 cents per day, that he will send you a check for the amount", but so far as I am able to determine no check has yet been received for even that which you considered belonged to this company. As I stated to you Tuesday after you had shown me the receipt which Mr.Tuttle and I gave for the hay in the stack and whieh receipt was dated March 19th, the Railroad Company was entitled to and should receive the total amount of the bill collected from Marsh; neither yourself or Walter Bracken was entitled to any portion of it, and none of the feed consumed by the stock belonging to Marsh was the property of any one else than this Railroad Company. I endeavored to see you again before leaving and called at your office three times, but at each time you were out, I will, therefore, thank you to remit to our Treasurer $11.80, being the amount collected by Holloway and turned over to you. A bill is enclosed herewith for the amount. Yours truly, (Signed) H.I,Bettis, Auditor. CC-F.M.Grace
