    RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing agreement, dated March 2, 1944, between Santa Fe Land Improvement Company and Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called First Parties, and C. F. Dixon, Second Party, covering license and permission to use premises at 330-336 Aliso Street, Los Angeles, California, as site for an automobile parking sta­tion, for term of two years from March 16, 1944; rental $200 per month; subject to termination by either party upon 60 days* written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong and Secretary in executing rider, C.L.D, No. 5490, dated March 3, 1944, extending to March 31, 1945, term of lease agreement, Audit No. 9563, dated March 29, 1935, expiring March 31, 1944, as amended, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and Furniture Manufacturers' Association, Inc., Lessee, cover­ing first floor and basement of building located at 2160 East Seventh Street, Los Angeles, California, for use in assembling, packing and shipping furniture and household goods; rental $238.93 per month, payable monthly in advance; subject to termination by either party upon 30 days' written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
