OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. November 15th, 1922 At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada held on the 15th day of November A.D. 1922 at the hour of 3.00 o'clock p.m. Present Eon. W.E. Dentner, Mayor Pro Tem, with Commissioners Thos. R. Hodgens and W.E. Arnold, together with the City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as read, upon motion of Commissioner Hodgens, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, and duly carried bn the following vote: Commissioners Hodgens, Arnold and Mayor Pro Tem Dentner, Aye; Noes, none. All bills allowed as per claim book on file with the Clerk of the Board excepting the following: the bill of Arrowhead Trail Garage for 3.25 was ordered returned with the request for information as to who ordered the goods billed. Whereupon the Clerk read for the first time proposed ordinance No. 96 for the City of Las Vegas entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS TO COMPEL TEE ATTENDANCE AT MEETING OF THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS BY MEMBERS THEREOF." Thereupon it was the order of the Board upon motion of Commissioner Hodgens, seconded by Commissioner Arnold and duly carried that the above entitled ordinance be and the same is hereby passed to the second reading. Voting Commissioners Hodgens, Arnold and Mayor Pro Tem Dentner Aye; Noes, none. It was the order of the Board upon motion of Commissioner Hodgens, seconded by Mayor fra Tem Dentner that the regular monthly meeting of the Board of the City Commissioners shall hereby be held on the first Wednesday of each month at 3.00 o'clock, p.m. until the further order of this Board. Voting on this motion Commissioners Hodgens, Arnold and Mayor Pro Tem Dentner AYE; noes, none. It was the order of the Board upon motion of Mayor Pro TEM Dentner, seconded by Commissioner Arnold and duly carried that some person be deputized for the purpose of keeping boys from gathering on the sidewalk in front of the Majestic Theater. Voting Commissioners Hodgens Arnold and Mayor Pro Tem Dentner Aye, Noes, none. Thereupon there being no further business to come before the Board it was ordered that adjournment be taken until the next regular meeting.
