TITLE INSURANCE PIONEER TITLE & TRUST GAMING APPLICATIONS Additional CHANGE OF BUSINESS NAME NEW NEW El Cortez Casino GAMING APPLICATIONS Renewals Commissioner Whipple moved the recommendation of the City Manager that Bid No. 53.16 be awarded to C.D. Roeder Company in the total amount of $12,053.00 be accepted and so ordered. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following votes Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: none. Commissioner Peccole moved the recommendation of the City Manager that Bid No. 53.17 be awarded to Raele McCoy Company in the total amount of $1,096.00 be accepted and so ordered. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: none. After check the City Manager recommended Bid No. 53.18 for Chain Link Fence for Cemetery be award­ed to Sears Roebuck & Co. Commissioner Peccole moved the recommendation of the City Manager that Bid No. 53.18 be awarded to Sears Roebuck & Company be accepted and so ordered. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: none. An amendment to the Liquor Ordinance was reported unfavorably at this time by Commissioners Bunker and Peccole. This amendment was proposed on March 4, 1953, making the holder of a license for his employee responsible for sale of Liquor to Minors. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378 REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 214. OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPT­ED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON SAID MAP; was read by title and referred to Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple for recommendation. Commissioner Peccole moved the policy of title insurance from Pioneer Title and Trust for the pur-chase of land for the Cemetery be ordered filed. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: none.
