BOX 1211 RENO, NEVADA 89504 - 1211 T H E CHANCERY (702) 329-9274 March 14, 1988 Mrs. Edythe Katz Liaison for the State of Nevada to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council 1273 Park Circle Las Vegas, Nevada 89102 Dear Edythe and My Brothers and Sisters: I and the whole Catholic Community of the State of Nevada join with you in spirit and prayer during these Days of Remembrance. Never should the memory of the victims of the Holocaust be forgotten. We pray that the horror of this chapter in the history of our human family will never be overlooked so that it may never be repeated. The solidarity of all our human family demands of us understanding and love for one another, never prejudice and hate. We pray that during these holy Days of Remembrance all of us will pledge ourselves to greater love and concern for each other and to greater dedication to promoting our common understanding. Wishing you all the peace that comes from God, I am Your Brother and Servant Bishop of Reno-Las Vegas DFW:sm
