Las Vegas - March 5* 195** Las Vegas Land and Water Company LOl South Second Street Las Vegas, Nevada Gentlemens Please refer to our letter of June 20, 1953, making application for extension of water mains of the Laa Vegas Land and Water Company under Rule 9 of the Hulas and Regulations of the Water Company on file with the Nevada Public Service Commission In the Subdivision described as Morning View Heights, Las Vegas, Nevada. This application covered the extension of water mains to serve the entire Subdivision of Morning View Heights, which consisted of 82 lots extending southerly from Oakey Boulevard to St. Louis Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, as indicated on unrecorded map approved by the Planning Commission of Clark County on March 26, 1953* At the time this application was made It was agreed that it would be made oh the basis that the Subdivider would deposit the estimated cost of the water mains and that the Water Company would construct the lines under their usual form of refund agreement for the entire subdivision mentioned above* Due to financial considerations, it was subsequently decided not to develop the entire Subdivision as referred to above, and a new Subdivision Map was prepared on the basis of developing only a portion of the Subdivision consisting of 20 lota, which are indicated on recorded Subdivision Map of Morning View Heights Tract Ho, 1 as recorded in Book h, Page 8 of Plats, Clark County, Nevada Records, In view of the above, you are hereby requested to change the basis for extension of water mains from the basis of deposit by the Subdivider and construction by the Water Company to the basis of your usual form of contract whereby the Subdivider will construct the water mains under private contract at his own expense and in accordance with your usual form of refund agreement.
