application for additions to the tavern liquor and gaming licenses be denied. Commissioner Whipple asked Mr. Crozier if he could satisfy the Board that he would have sufficient financial backing. Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of W. Howard Adams, George Harmon and O. L. Crozier for a tavern liquor and gaming licenses for the El Morocco Club, 1332 North E Street, be denied in the present form as submitted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commission­ers Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of W. Howard Adams for a restaurant Beverage license for the Cafe El Toro, 504 Jackson Street and J. M. Odell, Larry and Pete Prestininzi for a restaurant beverage license at Prestini's Sandwich Bar, 812 W. Bonanza, be denied for the reason that the owners of these establishments are not registered voters. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commission­ers Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved that the application of M. H. and Sallie Gordon for a new gaming license for the 3rd quarter of 1955 for 2 slots for the Rye and Roll at 1234 South 5th Street; and the application of Glenn Sales for 6 slot machines at the Cafe El Toro, 504 Jackson Street, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commission­ers Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that the following applications for renewal of gaming licenses for the 3rd quarter 1955 be approved in the same form and condition as the previous quarter: DIXIE WAFFLE SHOP P. Commissioner Whipple moved that the following applications for changes in location or ownership for slot machines for the 3rd quarter 1955 be approved: BOTTLE HOUSE P. Bonanza 4 slots Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved that the gaming application of Nono Scianna for 1 additional slot at the Fifth Street Restaurant, 825 South 5th Street, for the 3rd Quarter 1955 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Director of Public Works George E. Wade recommended that the tentative plat on Greater Las Vegas Tract No. 2 be accepted. Commissioner Sharp moved that the tentative plat on Greater Las Vegas Tract No. 2 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Director of Public Works George Wade stated that the subdivider of the B. M. Jones Tract is actively working on the tract, and that as of July 20th the roads are 60% complete. Commissioner Bunker moved that the City Attorney be instructed to notify the Bonding Company on the B. M. Jones Subdivision to complete the off-site improvements in this tract; it was further moved that the status of this subdivision, the final map of which was approved in May 1953 and remains incomplete as of this date, be made a part of the record.
