Box 1109 Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Campbell1 Referring to agreement between the Railroads and the Water District dated June 1, 1953* It la provided in that agreement that the Rail­road would, among other things, grant an easement to the Water District between points A and Tr H i t o m on Exhibit "A" attached to the agreement. The easement was so granted and, I presume, has been recorded. I now understand that the pipe line for which that easement was granted was built to the west of the easement strip on property of the Water District, and, therefore, there would seem to be no reason why the District should continue to hold that particular ease­ment. If I am oorrect in this assumption, X would appreciate if you would take up with the Board of Directors the Question of having the District quitclaim that easement back to the Los Angeles ft Salt Lake Railroad Company. Although the general easement provides that if the grantee shall cease to use any of the easement atrlps, they shall revert to the grantors, nevertheless, since the easements have been recorded, X think a quitclaim deed, idilch could be recorded, would clear up the title to this particular atrip of land. Tou may recall we had a similar situation in connection with the site for the proposed relocated^pip­ing station, and the District gave the Los Angeles A Salt
