    Las Vegas - January 20, 1945 Mr. 0. F. Ashbys Referring to your letter September 2?, File 218- 64, concerning our request to the Tenth Regional War Labor Board for certain adjustments in rates paid Las Vegas Land and Water Company employees. I attach copy of reply from Mrs. Emily Huntington, Director Wage Stabilization Division, under date of October 12 in which she Indicated data is be­ing assembled covering prevailing rates paid by water com­panies in the State of Nevada. We have heard nothing fur­ther since and wonder if it would be proper to ash the Board for this data, if it is now available, to use as a base in our further pursuance of this matter. You will recall that two subjects were considered at the beginning of our correspondence with the War Labor Board: 1st: The Adjustment of rates to a com­parable rate paid UPRR. clerical employees. 2nd; The Reclassification of three clerical positions in the office to which the Traveling Accountants took exception on the ground that the titles did not properly des­cribe the duties performed. Please see Mr. Jeffers' letter March 18, Pile 218- 64, concerning a Form 2120 which we had submitted to cover reclassification at no changes in rates of pay.
