Campbell, President Las Vegas Valley Water D istrict 135 South Fourth Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Tom: Since our telephone conversation of last week concerning an attorney for the district in connection with the negotiations for the acquisition of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company, I have discussed the matter with Mr. Beebe and Mr. Lauren Wright of our office. Mr. Wright has had extensive experience in public utility and water matters. Both Mr. Beebe and Mr. Wright felt that Kenneth K. Wright would probably be a qualified attorney to act for the district. Kenneth Wright for several years has had a practice concerning water law, public utilities and condemnation proceedings. Last Wednesday I discussed the acquisition of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company with Kenneth Wright and generally told him what was involved. He Indicated that he would be willing to undertake the matter on behalf of the water district.
