    Commissioner Bunker moved that the acceptance of the final plat for Twin Lakes Estates, Unit No. 2, be approved, subject to the posting of bond for offsite improvements. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent, Mayor C. D. Baker. CHAIN LINK FENCING The Commission considered the request of the Engineering Department that authorization Request to Advertise be given to advertise for bids to be opened April 1, 1959, for Chain Link Fencing in for bids to be opened the total amount of $5,000; $4,500 is estimated for the fencing to enclose the Golf April 1, 1959 Course Reservoir and approximately $500 for fencing at the animal shelter incinerator installation. Authorized Commissioner Sharp moved that authorization be given to advertise for bids to be opened April 1, 1959, for Chain Link Fencing in the estimated amount of $5,000. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor C. D. Baker. REHABILITATION FARM The Commission considered the request of the Engineering Department for authorization IRRIGATION SYSTEM to advertise for bids to be opened March 18, 1959, for the Rehabilitation Farm Request to Advertise Irrigation System. It is estimated that the total cost of installation and materials for Bids to be opened for a surface irrigation system would be $14,600. This will include the installation March 18, 1959 of 4900' of irrigation pipe with the appurtenant gate structures and outlets for surface irrigation on approximately 60 acres of land. Installation is to include the furnishing Held in Abeyance and installing of a 7½ h.p. pump for the system. Commissioner Bunker moved that the request of the Engineering Department for authorization to advertise for bids to be opened March 18, 1959, for the Rehabilitation Farm Irrigation System be held in abeyance. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor C. D. Baker. GRAVEL The Commission considered the request of the Engineering Department for authorization Request to Advertise to advertise for bids to be opened April 1, 1959; for 3/4' minus gravel delivered for Bids to be opened within the City for street maintenance; amount 15,000 cu. yds. estimated at $1.25 per April 1, 1959 cu. yd. at a total cost of $18,750. Authorized Commissioner Sharp moved that authorization be given to advertise for bids to be opened April 1, 1959, for 3/4' minus gravel delivered within the City for street maintenance; amount 15,000 cu. yds. estimated at $1.25 per cu. yd. at a total cost of $18,750. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor C. D. Baker. SLURRY EMULSION The Commission considered the request of the Engineering Department for authorization Request to Advertise to advertise for bids to be opened April 1, 1959; for 350 Tons of SS2 Emulsion which for Bids to be opened will be required for use during the period from April 1, 1959 to June 30, 1959, in the April 1, 1959 total estimated amount of $12,250 for SS2 Slurry Emulsion use in the street maintenance program. Authorized Commissioner Fountain moved that authorization be given to advertise for bids to be opened April 1, 1959, for 350 Tons of SS2 Emulsion which will be required for use during the period from April 1, 1959 to June 30, 1959; in the total estimated amount of $12,250 for SS2 Slurry Emulsion use in the street maintenance program. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor C. D. Baker. PIPING MATERIAL The Commission considered the request of the Engineering Department for authorization Request to Advertise to advertise for bids to be opened April 1, 1959; for piping materials to complete the for Bids to be opened connection of a new pump house with the existing water lines at the golf course. This April 1, 1959 will provide labor and materials for connecting the relocation of the pumps at the Golf Course Reservoir with the main supply. The estimated cost of this work is Authorized approximately $4,300. Director of Public Works Sauer stated that this is for pipe and material installed up to where the connection is to be made. Commissioner Fountain moved that authorization be given to advertise for bids to be opened April 1, 1959, for piping materials to be installed to complete the connection of a new pump house with the existing water lines at the Golf Course at an estimated cost of $4,300. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor C. D. Baker. QUITCLAIM DEED The Commission considered the adoption of Resolution of Acceptance of quitclaim Deed Clark County School to the City of Las Vegas from the Clark County School District for r/w for 40' of St. District Louis Avenue east of Atlantic Boulevard, a distance of approximately 1000' and 30' r/w for east ½ of Atlantic from St. Louis northerly approximately 500'. Resolution of Acceptance Adopted Commissioner Sharp moved that the following resolution be adopted and order made: RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED On motion of Commissioner Harris P. Sharp, duly seconded by Commissioner Wendell Bunker, and carried unanimously, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 4th day of March, 1959; by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed, dated the 26th day of February, 1959; executed by the Clark County School District to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes of streets; and 3-4-59
