Smith Recommendation for Las Vegas Land and Water Company authority to construct approximately 700 LF of 6" cast iron water main and 6 LF of 6 11 fire hydrant connection to serve Block 1 of Sunrise Association Stocks Subdivision No.l, Las Vegas, Nevada, at an estimated cost of $2,436.00, chargeable to investment of which $51.00 is a donation. Sunrise Association, a group of individuals for whom Pioneer Title Insurance and Trust Company is acting as Trustee, has made application for extension of water mains to serve Sunrise Association Stocks Subdivision No. 1, Las Vegas, Nevada, pursuant to Nevada Public Service Commission Rule 9. Upon execution of Agreement Sunrise Association will deposit the sum of $2,680.00 to cover estimated cost of work plus 10$ for overhead and supervision, of which an estimated amount of $2,624.00 is subject to refund pursuant to Nevada Public Service Commission Rule 9. The balance of $56.00 represents cost plus 10$ for constructing fire hydrant connection, which is not refundable but is capitalized as a donation. Request authority to proceed with installation of water mains upon execution of usual form of Refund Agreement. Approval of the Las Vegas Valley Water District under provisions of Section 13, paragraph (b) of Agreement "C'L.D. 11342 dated June 1, 1953, has been obtained. Mr. Bennett sees no legal objections.
