JLafi Vegan - February 18, 1948 ¥ 18-6-2 Mr, Frank Strong: Mr. D. F, Wengert: In connection wltb compilation of information for annual report to the Public Service Commission: 1 have reviewed Mr, Maok's file showing the consumption by months for the year 194?J and photostat sent me by Mr. Strong showing the production for the same period. From these we have compiled a statement by months showing the difference chargeable to overflow at the reservoir and a copy of this statement is attached for your ready reference. Please note that the cons imption exceeded the production for each of the months July - December, Inclusive. This is, of course. Impossible and in order to reconcile them we must adjust either the consumption figures as reflected by master meter readings or the production figures as reflected by Weir measurements. Inasmuch as the meter readings are used by the Auditor for allocation of costs between the respective companies, 1 suggest the adjustment be made In the production figures. This can be done by re-stating the consumption figures for the last 6 months as being also the production figures, and showing the overflow for only the first 6 months. It has been my observation that the Creek was dry practically all the time since July. Went over this carefully with General Water Service Foreman Snorf today and he concurs. If you know of any other method we can use to reconcile the figures, will be glad to have your advice. Otherwise, we will proceed with our report to the Auditor on the above basis. Mr. Maok's file 20-334-1 is returned herewith. A. M. Folger
