Las Vegas - March- SO, 1945 R - 48 Mr. D. F. Wengert; Please refer to Mr. Lesher's letter March 29 copy of which was sent to you with regard to the handling of garbage from dining cars at Las Vegas. It was my understanding from conversation with Mr. Smith that the 13C&H Department had a contract with a Mr. Ford covering removal of a portion of the garbage. Inasmuch as this apparently is not the case assume you will arrange for all parties to leave the garbage strictly alone with the exception of City authorities who regularly pick it up for disposal. ce: Mr. M.
