Provo, Utah -
line 5
Dearest Mary -
line 6
I have just come
line 7
home from work and will try
line 8
to answer your letter received
line 9
just a week ago. I was so
line 10
glad to hear from you, for now
line 11
I consider you one of my dear
line 12
friends -
line 13
I believe that I have not
line 14
written to you since returning
line 15
Page 2
to work in the Recorder's office.
line 1
I have been there about two
line 2
weeks now and I do enjoy it
line 3
so much. I have to get up
line 4
earlier than I did while you
line 5
were visiting me, for I have
line 6
to be at the office at nine
line 7
Page 2 line 8
o' clock.
We are having lovely weather,
line
9
the snow is nearly all gone and
line
10
it is quite warm and pleasant,
line
11
How glad and happy I will
line
12
be when spring comes again -
line
13
Well, Mary, my sister
line
14
started for California this
line
15
afternoon and I did not go
line
16
with her. I have decided to
line
17
remain home and work, but
line
18
really it is a great disappoint-
line
19
-ment to me to give up a trip
line
20
to the land of flowers. Perhaps
line
21
my turn will come some
line
22
Other time -
line
23
Last Thursday night we had
line
24
Page

quite a lively time at our house.
line
1
The occasion was a surprise
line
2
that we got up on Mrs. Stevens -
line
3
It was a complete surprise
line
4
and she did not recover from
line
5
the effects for several hours.
line
6
Everybody seemed to have a
line
7
pleasant time.
line
8
Saturday evening several
line
9
of the girls met at our house
line
10
and we organized a Literary
line
11
Page 3
Club. W& have limited the
line 12
membership to fifteen. We
line 13
meet every Saturday and we
line 14
are going to read and study
line 15
Longfellow"s Evangeline first-
line 16
We anticipate having very
line 17
interesting times and we are
line 18
determined to work hard SO
line 19
we can gain a great amount
line 20
of good from our efforts.
line 21
Miss Maesar wrote me last
line 22
week from San Francisco. She
line 23
may remain there till spring.
Page 4 line 1
I almost envy her for I know
line 2
she will have a delightful time.
line 3
You must be happy,
line 4
that you are in two of Bro. Nelson's
line 5
classes, but I don't envey you
line 6
the least bit. It would be
line 7
entirely different, if they were
line 8
Prof. Brimhall's classes, then
line 9
it would be worth one's time
line 10
to be in them.
line 11
There has been a S.S. normal
line 12
class organized in Ogden and
line 13
We S.S. graduates are expected
line 14
Page 4
to give instructions every Thurs-
line 15
-day evening. You can’t imagine
line 16
how I dread the task, but I
line 17
suppose I must face it-
line 18
I must go to choir practice tonight
line 19
so I must say good bye for this
line 20
time- Mama, Nettie and Lettie
line 21
join me in sending love to you.
line 22
Lovingly Yours Aggie-
