I agree.L&s Vegas - July 25, 1952 P* G# Martin — Los Angeles Referring to my letter of July 24, concerning water situation of Las Vegas, Nevada* Daily Report for July 24 of operation of the Charleston Reservoir indicates that at X0i45 p,m,, standard time, pressure ms reduced from 40 to 19 pounds* Report further indicates that pressure fluctuated from 25 pounds at 11:45 p.ru to 11 pounds at 4:30 a.m*, July 25, the Reservoir being practically filled at is45 a.m. The Well report also indicates that the pumps were cut off of Wells No# 8, 10 and 11 during this period* This morning we have numerous complaints from lestleigh Tract on West Charleston Boulevard of lack of water during the early morning hours# Residents In this area were unable to get v, ter for bathing and other domestic uses. There appears to be no reason why adequate pressure can not be maintained particularly when we have a full tank and some of the wells curtailed* ;e have complaints frote the Police Department of water running off station grounds Into Main Street almost ev ry day.
