    situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Salary Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.552 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Street and Alleys Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.19 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Water, Sewer and Light Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.03 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Cemetery Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.041 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Publicity Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.01 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Sewer Bond Interest Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.041 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Sewer Bond Redemption Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.054 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Highway Bond Interest Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.041 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Highway Bond Redemption Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.015 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines, except such property as is exempt from taxation, said tax to be known as and used as the Street Paving Interest Fund. RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.041 on each one hundred dollars worth of taxable pro­perty situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1929, including the net proceeds of the mines for the year 1929, said tax to be known as and used as the Street Paving Redemption Fund. The vote on said resolution was as follows: Commissioners Mundy, Smith, German, Neagle, and His Honor the Mayor, J. F. Hesse, Aye; Noes; none. At this time a delegation from the West Side of the City of Las Vegas, appeared before the Board, protesting against the removal of what is known and commonly referred to as "Block 16" this city, to the West Side. This matter was discussed and taken under advisement. The Clerk was ordered to write a letter to Mr. W. E. Ferron, a member of the City Planning- Commission of the City of Las Vegas, now in Los Angeles, authorizing him to look over lighting
