1 K ' 'll A meeting of the Executive Committee of the San Pedro, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company was held at 165 Broadway, Hew York City, on Monday, lovemher 18, 1912, at 11 a.m. Present: Directors R. S. Lovett and William Mahl. BELAYING STEEL RAIL BE TWEED LOS AIGELES AND ONTARIO, CAL. Telegram from President W. A. Clark, from Butte, Mont., November 17, 1912, was read as follows: "Special Committee strongly recommend relaying ninety pound steel rail between Los Angeles and Ontario, using released rail on the Provo District. The net cost in the exchange, covering new rail, transportation and labor, will be about #115,000.00. I approve. If you approve please answer. Leaving here Monday night for New York. Steel Company holding space pending our decision." Whereupon, on motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, That the President be and hereby is axthorized to proceed with the laying of ninety pound rail between Los Angeles and Ontario, Cal., in accordance with his telegram, the released rail to be used on the Provo District. On motion meeting adjourned. Secretary, Executive Committee.
