I agree.EMERGENCY ORDINANCE 289 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 5, OF ORDINANCE NO. 210 OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO FIX, IMPOSE AND PROVIDE FOR THE COLLECTION OF A LICENSE TAX ON MOTOR PRO- PELLED VEHICLES OPERATED FOR HIRE, AND TO REGULATE THE OPERATION AND RUNNING OF THE SAME, WITHIN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS: FIXING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE: AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 100 AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH." The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 210 of the City of Las Vegas is hereby amended to read as follows: CITY CLERK TO ISSUE LICENSES - Upon the Board of City Commissioners granting the license as hereinbefore provided, the City Clerk shall issue the same, upon the payment, in advance of a license tax, as follows: For each vehicle capable of seating not more than seven (7) passengers, the sum of Ten ($10) Dollars per quarter. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to have this ordinance published in the Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal, a daily newspaper printed and published in the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, State of Nevada for a period of two weeks, that is to say, once each week for a period of two weeks.
