d iii Mr.J.Ross Clark, Building. Dear Sir: As the company Rouses at Las Vegas are about completed, we must decide upon the method of handling the collection of rentals from these houses, and I have before me a draft of lease prepared hy Mr.McHamee, which X am enclosing herewith for your information. My first impression was that the water rent should not be included in this lease, as it would require the consiimers to pay their water rent in advance, and other consumers at Las Vegas are not required to do this. If this collection is made by deduction on the pay roll, however, it will insure our getting the water rent always, while tenants of the houses might move out and leave owing us a water bill if they were not obliged to pay it in advance. Please advise what you think of the matter. Yours truly,' Vice President & Auditor.
