AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949 BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan Map adopted by Section IV of Ordinance No. 378, also referred to as Section 10, Chapter 24, Code of the City of Las Vegas, 1949 is hereby amended to read as follows: (a) FROM R-2to R-3 Lots 49 and 54 and a portion of a lot in Block 6, Amended Plat of Noblitt Addition, being the east half of Block 6 adjacent to Ogden. (b) FROM R-E to R-1 SE l/4 of the NE l/4 of Section 32, Township 21 S, Range 6l East. (c) FROM R-3 to C-2. The rear one-half lot 9, Block 22, HFM&M. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adoption, and final publication as in the next section provided. SECTION 4. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately followings its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas. ORDINANCE NO. 651 AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY TREASURER AND CITY COMPTROLLER TO SIGN BANK CHECKS IN PAYMENT OF CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY: TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY TREASURER AND CITY COMPTROLLER TO USE FACSIMILE SIGNATURES UPON SAID BANK CHECKS: PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO: AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority contained in the Charter of the City of Las Vegas as amended by Chapter 152, Laws of Nevada 1955 all disbursements made by bank checks drawn upon the accounts of the City of Las Vegas in any bank, shall contain only the signatures of the City Treasurer and City Comptroller. SECTION 2. The City Treasurer and the City Comptroller are hereby authorized to use a facsimile signature produced through a mechanical device in place of his handwritten signature whenever the necessity may arise and upon approval of the Board of Commissioners subject to the following conditions: (a) That the mechanical device shall be of such nature that the facsimile signature may be removed from the mechanical device and kept in a separate secure place; ORDINANCE NO. 650
