Mr, Reinhardt and Mr, Bennett are out of the offiee but X am sure they would approve your suggested plan, X think that your suggested schedule is proper. X am sending Mr. Johnson's oopy of your letter to him with the request that he have in my hands as early as possible in the week of May 21st the material which you have suggested he prepare, Mr, MeCafferty called me yesterday to advise that all of the material requested in Mr. Bennett's letter to Mr, Sutton of April 27, 1951 would be in our hands by the end of this week, X believe we will receive several copies of all the statements re­quested and X will send you a oopy upon receipt so that we can re­quest additional details if you think it necessary, X will let Mr. Bertolaool know es soon as X have received the material from Mr, Sutton and from Mr, Johnson, X think he should commence work on the estimates as soon as possible thereafter. Mr. Bennett and X have a meeting with Mr. Cannon in Las Vegas on May 24th, He has indicated that he may be able to stipulate to some of the faets which we are attempting to prove. After our conference with him, we may have a better understanding of the matters he will stress at the next hearing, X do not believe that prior to the hearing you need prepare any additional information with reference to the water conservation problem.
